Xia Magnus and Alyssa Polk founded Oneonetwosix Films in 2015 with the intention of producing high quality independent short and feature length films.
Xia Magnus is an award winning writer, producer, and director. His music videos have been featured by Dazed, American Songwriter, and Paper Magazine, as well as screened at Contemporary Arts Center of New Orleans. His films have been in numerous festivals worldwide. Including his short film Hunter, which was an official selection of the 2017 Austin Film Festival. His first feature, Sanzaru, will be released in 2018.
Alyssa Polk has worked in all capacities of film for more than fifteen years. Her credits include major studio productions such as the Coen Brothers’ motion picture True Grit (2010) and Universal Pictures' Adjustment Bureau (2011) as well as countless independent features, shorts and music videos. Having spent the last three years producing film projects throughout the US, while also studying film and art at Yale University, she recently returned to her hometown of Los Angeles to concentrate on Oneonetwosix Films. As a queer woman, Alyssa’s focus has always been to produce films about lives historically underrepresented in cinema.
